Chilangolandia began with a mother’s dream and years of hard work.

After losing everything, she moved to Watsonville, California, with four children depending on her. With very little to her name, she began working in the agricultural fields, doing everything she could to support her family and build a more stable future.

Even during the hardest years, she never gave up on her dream of owning a business and creating jobs for others. After several years of working and saving, she finally opened Chilangolandia—a place where the community could enjoy Mexican snacks inspired by the authentic flavors and colorful spirit of Mexico.

Today, the business has grown to employ five people. She also gives back through donations and community support, always trying to lead by example. What started as a dream during difficult times has become a successful local business built on perseverance, family, culture, and community.
